Tuesday Morning

Good morning friends...

I have been up and commenting! It feels so good to be back! Today is Molly's last day of music class, which I am feeling a little sad and yet relieved. I know this is crazy, but my poor child gets in trouble for dancing at music class. The teacher frowns upon said dancing. I think it's funny, and I enjoy watching her shake the jingle bells. I refuse for her to rein in her dancing skills when we are singing and playing instruments. So I might look for another music class where my child can shake her stuff.

Today we have 16 people from the The Ridge leaving for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. They will be there until next Tuesday. The Ridge helps support GO Ministries down there. Last year we took up an offering of over $27,000.00 on one Sunday. Not too shabby for a church that's a little over 2 years old. So we sent it down to the DR to build a feeding center and a church. The team this year is going to help finish the church and do VBS for all of the kids. Please pray for safe travels and that they can spread Christ's love to everyone they come in contact with.

My plan is to upload all of my pictures from my camera, so hopefully I will be able to share some with you today. Until then, I will keep praying for Stellan, and for the whole Mck Family.

isn't it crazy how it's just a kid's instinct to dance?! you put on some tunes and they're be-bopping around the house...no worries, no inhibitions...i say let the kids dance! find another class, for sure!!!! :)

I think I would find a new dance class too! It's instinct and it's beautiful when little kids dance :o)
Wish I had time to catch up on my blog reading. I am way behind and I DO NOT like being behind. Maybe need to take time tonight to do some catch up. Cool about the missions trip!!!

I love too that all little ones have an inner desire to let loose and dance! We should all be that way, I think. What fun is singing if you can't dance around too? I say let her express herself! LOL!!

That is so awesome about the mission work!! I hope our church will get to do things like that one day. We went out to eat with our church on Friday and I feel so much better about everything. I really felt like I was part of their family, so the Lord answered my prayers for that.

That's kinda lousy about Kate's music teacher being like that about dancing! There's nothing like the innocence of a child where they can just cut loose and not worry about what everyone else things of them. Everything changes when you grow up, that's for sure, and little ones should def be allowed to express themselves!

That's awesome about your church being apart of a missions trip. I will definitely be praying for them!

sounds like someone takes life just a little to serious when it comes to childs play. No one gets to enjoy their childhood any more. i am with you kate i think i would find something else.

Definitely find Miss Thing I different music class! Music and dancing go hand in hand. What is that teacher thinking!?!
