There's Nothing Wrong With...

...buying yourself flowers!  I do it all the time!  I have a lot of lady friends that would never dare buy themselves flowers.  Why not?!

My husband is probably like most of your husbands, I hardly ever get flowers from him.  He thinks they are temporary, a waste of money, and the excuses reasons why go on.  So I don't take it personally, I just buy them for myself.  Like this lovely bouquet above was $3.99 at the grocery store.  Now, I won't buy like really expensive flowers for myself, that is a waste of money.  But I will splurge every once in a while to enjoy...

So go ahead, you have my permission, buy yourself some flowers!

**On a much different and much more serious note, will you all please pray for my cousin, Jill...she had a miscarriage over the weekend.  I am sure having a miscarriage is beyond words hard, but she was told she would NEVER have kids and has had a lot of surgeries that should have made it impossible for her to conceive, but she did.  So she is dealing with a lot and I am sure she would covet your prayers.  Thanks friends!

I prayed for your cousin, Kate. I am so sorry for what she is going through.

I think it's awesome that you buy flowers! They definitely do make you feel better, huh?! I don't buy flowers alot, unless I'm having a party or something more formal that I want them for, but Morgan will bring me roses from his rose bush outside and the girls just picked some flowers for me at Grandma's house this weekend that I have in a vase right now :)

I love colorful ones like what you got much more than roses.

Sorry your cousin is having such a hard time. Will pray for her.

Also you make me laugh. Reminds me of the time my coworker and I bought ourselves roses for valentine's day. Just a bud vase with 1-3 in it and signed them guess who.... Our fellow (Men co-workers) were all falling over each other that we got flowers from a secret admiror. We never did tell them that we bought them ourselves.

I love having flowers around. My husband bought me a real expensive one for our anniversary. I was disappointed that it only lasted one week.
Have you priced a dozen red roses lately? Unreal.

Love grocery store and walmart, Kroger flowers.

First of all my heart goes out to your cousin and I will pray for her Kate. That is so hard,...bless her heart.

I liked your flowers. I buy flowers for myself sometimes. I love to pick them out and then bring them home to brighten up the house.

I just love to gaze at their beauty and think of the Creator.

God's beauty is in everything He created!

Kate, Will pray for her. Know what that is like having 2 myself before Katrina and Holly. And it will get easier for her as each new day passes, but thinking of her in the meantime.
