An afternoon with Mom and Dad

Yesterday afternoon Eric and I took Molly to the children's museum downtown.  We love going there, and Molly got a membership for her birthday.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!  We went about and hour and half before they closed, and it was perfect.  There were hardly any kids/parents there, and it was the right amount of time for Molly to play and not get too crabby.

They have this exhibit going on right now that has golf balls.
So all Molls wanted to do was play with those!

Eric and Molly watching one of the balls spinning down the exhibit.

Inside the recording studio.  Molly turned "Twinkle, Twinkle"
into a rap song!

She loved the shopping cart and loading all of the food in it.
We joked that she would kick butt on Super Market Sweep!

Lastly, the phone.  If there is a phone within 100 feet
of this girl, she needs to "talk" on it!

We had a lot of fun, and I was so glad it was not busy.  I am not a huge crowd person, especially with little ones.  Then we ended our great afternoon with a trip to Tazino's.  Two guys in our church opened a salad, pasta and pizza bistro.  All I have to say is YUM!  They use all natural ingredients, so it's good for you, and you don't feel like you just ate 50 pieces of pizza!  Which sometimes is not good, becasue I could eat that many slices of pizza there. If you live in, or near Milwaukee, you should check them out!  They even have locations in Kenosha and Menonmee Falls.  There's my little pitch for them :)

Today Eric took Molly to her little class.  He said she did great, no melt-downs, and she still loved the parachute.  So I am electing him official class taker.  Plus, I think it will be good for them to spend time together.  And I would love the break to be honest!

Hope you all have a great Friday and a relaxing weekend.  I will be back later to post about 2 awards I have graciously been given.  Until next time...

what little girl doesn't like the phone? I know Kyndra and Audrey have a play phone all the time to their ear. Cute.

What a fun time!!! It sounds like a great place with lots of things to do. That's good there wasn't a crowd. I'm not a big fan of crowds either. Easier when there is fewer people. That pizza place sounds so good. I love all natural things!

What a neat little place! Looks like there is a lot to do there. Molly's outfit is really cute!

I was wondering how she did at that class. She must have just had one of those off days when she went with you. I am glad that she did better and you are so right that it would be fun thing to do for Daddy and daughter time.

I am so wanting to go to a pizza buffet for dinner now. Pizza Inn is about our only choice though :(
