Breaking News...

Sorry for the heart stopping title, but they (the weather guys) are calling for snow this weekend!  I thought I would have a little bit more time before the first snow would hit, but guess not.  I was just a little shocked and knew I had to share this with you all.

I doubt that the snow we get will stick or be anything significant, but still.  It's snow!  When we moved here 2 years ago it snowed in October too.  Okay, I have gone on way too long about this!

Snow! We are in the 70's this week in California, that's cold enough for me. How do you go from 105 to 75! I want the weather in the middle for awhile.

Are you kidding me? I'll have to see if we're on the radar here in the Fox Valley! Goodness gracious!

I just cannot believe snow.....Morgan came in from working outside earlier and he was soaking wet from sweat! Ewww! It's so hot here! Madison even had a swimming party on Saturday that she went to. Ha!

Yes, snow is in the air. I have you beat - September 12 we had our first snow in Colorado. That isn't usual for us, but man - it was unexpected and strange. Two days earlier it had been 85. So, now we're 50's one day with rain (today) and ready for 80's again at the end of the week. Hence, I can't have summer clothes, fall clothes and winter clothes since I might need them all in one day :o)

Yeah for snow! I guess I can say that because I'm here in CA and I have never experienced snow except a time or two when I've been up to the mountains! I love the weather here and do not envy you snow folks, LOL!

It's crazy to think about snow so early but up in those northern regions I guess that's normal? lol Let's hope it doesn't stick!

Snow?? Too funny! We are getting a "cold front" tonight so our high tomorrow is in the mid 70's!! Ha! That's out Texas "cold" front.

Thanks so much for your sweet comment! I got that plate at Hobby Lobby. Do you guys have HL?? It was like $5...but it's not very big, as you can see in the pictures. I just buy different ribbon for different seasons and change it out around the plate. There is an actually "Write Plate" and it is bigger. www.thewriteplate.com

The one I have is just my homemade (cheaper version) with what I could find. But we love it! I write a verse, a love note to Dave, my to-do list, grocery items I can't forget, etc. I love it!! *ps...sorry this comment is so long!!

WOW!! I cannot believe that you are going to get snow! That is absolutely crazy. I guess it is either just way too hot out or way too cold. What happened to weather in the middle?!

I KNOW....snow .... Today it feels much like snow....but it was RAIN, RAIN, AND MORE RAIN.....got soaked coming to work this morning and all day, am freezing.

Why am I living in this climate???? WHY NOT WHERE IT IS WARM? Guess if it wasn't for my job I could relocate. But am grateful I do have a job.

BUT LET IT BE SNOW AND NOT ICE!!!!
I don't know how to ice skate.
