A little of this and a little of that

I am so glad some of you are going to read through the book of Proverbs with me!  I think you all will be amazed and blessed by what God is going to do in your heart!  Plus, you all are keeping me accountable to do it too!  The first post is up about chapter one, so click here...I am also putting a link to it on my sidebar, so you can click there also to see the posts.  Thanks for the encouragement, and I really think this is going to be awesome!

In other is cold here!  I am making my husband break out the winter clothes tonight.  I really have no division in the wardrobe between Fall and Winter clothes.  They all are pretty much the same, but I need something warm to wear!  I was going to take Molly to the zoo this morning, but the thought of walking around the zoo in 50 degree weather made me cold!  Plus, I need my warm clothes out in the garage to wear.  So we had a nice, relaxing, lazy morning at home.  We don't do that all too often, and I am still in my pajamas loving every minute of it!

In November my Mom, Molly, and myself are going to Disney- the one in Florida, so I am not sure if it's Land or World.  Obviously, I am not a huge Disney fan, or I would know.  I am going for a counseling conference and my Mom is tagging along to keep Molly entertained.  My conference is at downtown Disney, so we are right there in the action, or close enough to get to it.  So for anyone who has been there before...I would love your suggestions on what my Mom and Molly could do during the day, while I am forced glad to learn new information.  Should we bring a stroller or the backpack leash?  Zip it...I know some of you out there attest "the leash" but until you are willing to come chase her around, keep it to yourselves :)  Do 2 year olds ride rides?  I have only been there once, when I was 15, and I honestly remember zero about the place.  So any helpful advice would be great!

Hope where you live you can see the sun's cold and rainy here.  But it's Fall, and I love it!  One last thing...I love this quote and wanted to share it with you...
"We would worry less about what others think of us
if we realized how seldom they do."

Oh My Goodness Downtown Disney is amazing...its just Miles of fun and a ton of "theme" stores and resturants, they could spend a whole day just walking around down there without even having to go the actual amusement park!!

Molly will love Disney World! Downtown Disney is lots of fun shopping and eating. Molly will not get bored. She can build legos at Lego Land (or whatever it's called). Be sure to do a character meal. We did dinner with Cinderella, but Pooh or Mickey might be more appropriate for her. Book it ASAP though because the spots fill up fast.

My advice is to get a book called "Birnbaum's Guide to Walt Disney World." It tells you where to eat, where to go if you have young kids. Numbers to call for meals, info, etc. That book has everything about every park and even info on Downtown Disney. I would mail you ours, but I can't find it...I might have thrown it away. :( Anyhow, GET THAT BOOK. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. I used it a lot, but I'm a planner.

I forgot to tell you that it's like 90 degrees here! We think it's cold here if it gets in the 60's at Christmas time. LOL!

I went there when I was in 8th grade so I really don't remember much about it at all. I am sure that Molly will have a blast though. I am also certain that there will be some rides for her. Maybe check out the website and see height/age requirements and map it out for them. She will have so much fun. Make sure your Momma takes a bunch of pictures to share with us!

Enjoy Florida. How fun. Have never been myself. I've been to Disneyland.
It's cold here too. But it's off and on. It was eighty five on Tuesday and fifty two today - one day later. It snowed here last week. Ugh. Not quite ready yet.

I am sure you will have lots of fun and I would take the stroller incase she gets tired then you wont have to carry her.

Sorry but I am no help in the Disney dept since I haven't been there with kiddos before.

I totally laughed at your leash comment. I will definitely zip it on that one!

Hope you have a great weekend and you get all your winter stuff out so you can stay warm!

It's been a long time since I've been there. Since I was like 6 or 7 maybe? I dunno. I don't remember a lot about it and if I did it's prolly all changed anyway. Hope you all have fun down there when you go!

Thanks for that quote. I think it's true!!
