Mickey, Treats, and Candy Corn

So remember how I blogged about going to Disney with Molly, and I asked you all for advice.  Well, seems like we won't need it.  My Mom was supposed to go with us, but her boss put a hold on everyone's vacation indefinitely, so now she cannot go with me to watch Molly.  I am a little sad because I was looking forward to seeing my best friend who lives close to Disney, being able to see Molly experience all of the wonderful things Disney has to offer, and walk across the stage to accept my diploma.  So instead we will eat Mickey shaped pancakes-maybe, watch The Backyardigans because my kid has no clue who Mickey is, and walk to mailbox to accept my diploma after the mail lady drops it off.

Last night we took Molly trick-or-treating.  It was fun and she loved the fact that people put candy in her Elmo basket.  She kept asking for more.  Here are some pictures of Molly and our friends that we went with.

I almost have all some of Molly's candy finished off!

Did you know if you mix candy corn and peanuts together it tastes like a Payday candy bar?  I did that tonight, and ate way too much, and now have a belly ache.  But it is so good!  Try it!

Last, but not least...the Steelers beat the Vikings!  Our house was so happy yesterday, along with all of Steeler Nation!  I hate strongly dislike Brett Favre, so to see him bite it a couple of times yesterday made the win oh so more sweet.  Plus the Vikings are no longer undeafeted!  Sorry to all of you Brett lovers, but this black and gold girl was really happy!  Lots of things are happening in our house and at church, I am very excited to share some of them with you in the next couple of days and weeks.  I am still trying to catch up from last week, slow and steady wins the blog reading race, or I might just stop and start anew this week!

That sure is a bummer that you won't be able to go on your trip afterall. I totally know what you mean about feeling behind with blog reading. Sometimes it can be overwhelming but I just have to remind myself that this is something I do for fun and not get all stressed out about it!

The postives are if you wait a little longer she will know everything about Disney and you will feel like you got your moneys worth. It is really expensive I hear. We have not gone yet, I have heard that it is wonderful but not relaxing at all it is a lot of go go and with Lauren that does not sound like fun. So I hope that makes you feel better. I hate to be disapointed. Take care.
