I needed that...

Have you ever had one of those days where you read something and you think, "whoa, I needed that!"  Well I did today.  It's funny how only 140 characters, thanks Twitter, can impact your life and make you think all day long.  Here is what I read...

"Don't let the circumstances that are outside of your control keep you from trusting the God who is in complete control."

I read this after Pastor Steven Furtick retweeted it from another Pastor at Elevation Church.  I first heard of Elevation Church from my sweet blogging friend, Stephanie.  I won a worship cd she was giving away from her church, and since then I have been following Pastor Furtick's blog and his wife, Holly's blog.  Anyways, back to the quote...

I feel like these words ring true in so many areas of my life, especially during the times I throw myself  "a life's not fair pity party."  Which sadly has been a lot lately.  I still trust God, my faith has not waivered, however, I have times I think I can do something on my own without even acknowledging God who is trying to help me.  Or realizing that I can't control it all, but He can, and He will.

So here is some encouragement for you all today, no matter what you may be facing in life.

Thank you so much for sharing that, Kate! I struggled for a long time when I realized I had no control, and it was only when I realized that it was okay to let God be in control that things began to change! Hope you have a great week!!

Wow that is an awesome quote and one to live by for sure. God is in control ultimately and He truly loves us!
